Description
Position Purpose Summary
The 3PL Order Processor is responsible for confirming fulfillment orders are properly received, selected, packed, processed and staged for shipping.
Summary of Essential Functions
- Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments to scan orders into shipping manager software (set up, close and utilize 3PL stations) ensuring accurate shipping address and package quantities
- Prepare, seal and label boxes and stage on pallets, by manual methods and by utilizing pallet jacks, providing counts to Supervisor/Lead
Accountabilities and Supporting Activities
- Assemble boxes and refill stations with supplies
- Maintain a clean and organized work space
- Perform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations including GMP guidelines 1
Requirements
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Candidate must have the ability to read, write and understand English, including identifying numbers
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Strong attention to detail and good time-management
- Independent problem solving skills
- Work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively in a team environment
- Proficient in UPS Worldship and FedEx shipping manager software
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude
Education
High School Education or equivalent
Experience
Experience operating warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, high reach truck), preferred
Complexity
Requires high degree of attention, skill, and dexterity in the safe operation and control of warehouse equipment
