Advanced Data Analyst

Job Summary

Responsible for partnering with business leaders to deliver analytics solutions that drive informed decision-making and operational excellence. Leads analytics initiatives from intake to delivery, develops Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions, manages projects, and translates business needs into actionable insights through strong stakeholder engagement and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

1. Analytics Development & Reporting

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and scorecards.
• Translate business requirements into scalable analytics solutions.
• Develop KPIs and reporting frameworks to measure business performance.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and usability across reporting solutions.

 

2. Business Partnering & Stakeholder Management

• Partner with business leaders to understand priorities, challenges, & reporting needs.
• Act as a trusted advisor by providing data-driven recommendations and insights.
• Facilitate requirement gathering, solution design discussions, and prioritization sessions.
• Communicate analytical findings in a clear and business-focused manner.

 

3. Project & Program Management

• Manage analytics projects from intake through deployment, ensuring timely delivery.
• Coordinate activities across business, IT, and analytics teams.
• Track project milestones, dependencies, risks, and stakeholder expectations.
• Drive user adoption through regular engagement, training, and feedback sessions.

 

4. Data Analysis & Continuous Improvement

• Perform data analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and operational improvements.
• Support ad hoc reporting and executive-level analytics requests.
• Drive automation and simplification initiatives to improve reporting efficiency.
• Establish reporting standards, documentation, and best practices.

 

5. User Support & Enablement

• Provide guidance and support to users on analytics solutions and reporting tools.
• Develop training materials and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions.

Promote self-service analytics and data-driven decision-making across the organization.

 

You Must Have

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• 8+ years of experience in Analytics, Business Intelligence, Reporting, or Data Management.
• 5+ years of hands-on Power BI development experience.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience gathering business requirements and translating them into analytics solutions.
• Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
