Known for its vibrant atmosphere, fresh ingredients, and Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, Èlephante brings a touch of coastal charm to the desert. We're seeking talented, passionate individuals to join our team and help us create memorable dining experiences.
Position Overview:
We are looking for skilled and motivated AM Line Cooks to join our back-of-house team. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in ensuring each dish meets our high standards for quality, presentation, and flavor. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a love for culinary artistry, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work environment.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Monitor food stock and notify management of shortages.
- Adhere to food safety and health regulations.
- Assist in daily prep and other kitchen duties as needed.
Education, Experience, and Skill Requirements:
- Completion of company-provided in-venue Line Cook training and possession of a valid Food Handling Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
- Previous culinary experience strongly preferred, particularly in high-volume kitchen operations.
- Demonstrated ability to execute line cook duties effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic culinary environment.
- Physical capability to stand, lift, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work safely in a kitchen environment with exposure to heat and cleaning chemicals.
- Strong focus and adaptability under pressure in an ever-changing, high-energy atmosphere.
- Flexible availability, including the ability to work morning shifts, weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
