SUMMARY

The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements. This role ensures the smooth and efficient operation of the quick service lane and contributes to maintaining customer satisfaction. The Lube/Quick Service Technician provides essential vehicle services that maintain the safety and performance of customer vehicles.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

· Adheres to express lube guidelines.

· Performs lube, oil, and filter changes by draining and replacing oil and filter, and lubricating all joints, includer idler arm steering knuckles, tie rods ends and ball joints.

· Reports all necessary repairs to service advisor.

· Installs completed LOF reminder sticker in vehicle.

· Checks battery, tire air pressure, windshield fluid, transmission fluid and power steering fluid levels and refills as needed.

· Checks coolant level and refills as necessary.

· Ensure that vehicle is clean and free of fluid residue or fingerprints.

· Checks fluid level prior to release of vehicle to ensure proper levels.

· Maintains CSI at or above Company standards.

· Maintains an organized, clean, and safe work area.

· Participates in required training.

· Records all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping system

· Follows safeguards rules and regulations.

· Demonstrates the Company’s Core Values.

· Comply with Company policies and procedures.

· Observes all Federal, State, Local and Company safety rules and regulations in the performance of duties.

· Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

· Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

· Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance procedures.

· Effective communication skills with customers and team members.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

· High school diploma or equivalent required. Automotive training or certification preferred.

· Previous experience in a lube or quick service role preferred. Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance and repair required

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS & WORK ENVIRONMENT

· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or listen. The employee is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel.

· Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

· Occasional lifting, standing, crawling, reaching, use of stairs.

· Occasional attendance at social gatherings.

· Ability to travel occasionally.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

· Valid Texas Driver's License

· Must maintain a clean driving record
