Role Summary

We are seeking an ambitious Business Development Representative with around two years of B2B technology sales experience to develop named enterprise accounts through targeted research, stakeholder mapping and personalised, value-led outreach. Working closely with Account Executives, the role will engage senior decision-makers, create and qualify credible opportunities, maintain disciplined CRM intelligence and contribute measurable pipeline across complex, multi-stakeholder organisations. The successful candidate will be commercially curious, resilient and comfortable using modern sales tools and recognised qualification frameworks, with a clear development path towards an Enterprise Account Executive role.

Join the enterprise sales team to research named accounts, map buying groups and engage senior stakeholders with personalised, value-led outreach.

Person Description

Education & Qualifications

Best suited to someone with around two years of successful B2B technology sales experience and ambition to progress into an Enterprise Account Executive role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Run targeted outbound programmes across named enterprise accounts.
  • Research business priorities, transformation activity, market pressures and project triggers.
  • Map and multi-thread stakeholders across business, technology, security, risk, operations and leadership.
  • Create qualified discovery meetings and opportunities through outbound, campaigns, referrals, events and inbound activity.
  • Work with Account Executives on account strategy, qualification and pipeline progression.

 Profile, Skills and Experience

  • Proven target attainment and success sourcing enterprise meetings or pipeline.
  • Confident engaging Director, VP and C-suite stakeholders.
  • Strong written, verbal, presentation, research and stakeholder-mapping skills.
  • Commercially curious, resilient, coachable, collaborative and disciplined.
  • Comfortable with CRM, sales intelligence, AI-enabled research and social selling tools.
  • Able to articulate strategic business value, not simply product features.

Preferred background

Enterprise software, SaaS or platform sales, ideally across cybersecurity, identity, cloud, data, digital transformation, customer experience or fintech. Experience in regulated or complex markets such as financial services, insurance, retail, telecommunications or public sector is advantageous.

What success looks like:

  • Consistent delivery of qualified enterprise meetings and measurable pipeline.
  • Strong multi-stakeholder relationships, qualification discipline and CRM accuracy.
  • Trusted partnership with sales leadership, Account Executives and subject-matter experts.

Evidence candidates should bring:

  • Examples of enterprise opportunities personally sourced and qualified.
  • A repeatable research, stakeholder-mapping and meeting-creation approach.
  • Evidence that booked meetings progressed into credible pipeline.

The Daon DNA
