Responsibilities

This is the second of a four level job series within Community Health System's (CHS) Information Technology Services, Business Systems Group. The Business Systems Analyst BIS 2 provides support for business systems, including: analyzing and documenting business processes, developing and documenting technical processes, translating user requirements for development teams, participating in system planning, and in vendor product identification/due diligence/selection.

Works assigned tasks and projects related to business systems. Demonstrates core understanding business and application knowledge consistent with business needs. Demonstrates the ability to manage less complex projects and works alongside stakeholders with system enhancement opportunities. Incumbent's work effort requires some level of quality control and produces a good level of work product.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Work alongside the Health Plan business team (CCH).
• Set up user security and system configurations.
• Troubleshoot claims, payments, and related business system issues.

Location & Schedule:

• Onsite Expectations: Remote within a commuteable distance from Fresno location with periodic on-site visits which are required (roughly ~2 days a week when needed, though not strictly mandatory every single week).
• Hours: Standard business hours (approx. 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM).

Qualifications

Education

• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required
• Bachelor's Degree in a Technology or Business related field required
• Equivalent combination of education and experience may be substituted for the Bachelor's Degree and experience requirement

Experience

• 2 years of experience implementing and supporting business systems required
• 3 years of experience implementing and supporting business systems preferred

• QNXT experience/familiarity is a plus (Configuration, data entry).

• SQL experience (preferred for data pulling/troubleshooting).

• Healthcare / Health Plan background (ideal, e.g., working with PPO/HMO/EPO concepts, Claims, Providers, Members, Utilization Management, Insurance Services preferred).
