About the role


CentiMark Corporation - Buyer - Canonsburg, PA

This role is paying $53k - $58k based on education and experience.

Core Responsibilities:

  - Supplier Management: Work directly with the Corporate Sourcing Manager to identify, research, and evaluate potential vendors based on pricing, reliability, capacity, and quality standards.
  - Purchasing & Orders: Issue and track purchase orders (POs), requests for quotations (RFQs), proposals (RFPs), and information (RFIs).
  - Inventory & Delivery Control: Monitor stock levels across all locations, coordinate the movement of goods based on location needs, and resolve delivery, invoicing, or damaged-goods issues.
  - Logistics: Work with preferred LTL and Truckload carriers to arrange the movement of goods, primarily inter-company shipments.
  - System & Data Management: Update and maintain Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems. Familiarity with SAP is a strong plus.
  - Compliance: Ensure all purchasing activities comply with established agreements, industry standards, and internal corporate governance.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  - Experience: 1 to 4+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, accounting, or supply chain operations. Initial training and strong continued employee development will be provided.
  - Key Skills: Negotiation, analytical problem-solving, and communication skills; understanding of contract law is a plus; proficiency in MS Excel and ERP tools.
