Christmas Administrative Assistant (8581)

Schedule/Hours: M-S as needed (40 hours per week)

This position is responsible for:

Assists the Christmas Angel Tree and/or Kettle Coordinator at Corps locations; assists in preparing records and reports regarding Christmas Angel Tree or Kettle activity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure all new hire paperwork for either Christmas program is complete and signed off by the Christmas Angel Tree or Kettle Coordinator.

• Maintains orderly Christmas files on all payroll information; obtains employee signatures on payroll summaries and assembles all documents for delivery to the DFW Area Command payroll department each pay period.

• Prepares and maintains accurate Christmas Angel Tree and/or Kettle statistics, records and reports regarding program activity for Corps and/or Area Command locations.

• Assists with data entry if needed for Christmas Angel Tree or Kettle programs

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:

• Ability to perform all duties with an understanding of the mission, minis try, philosophy, culture, and protocol of The Salvation Army and conducts all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR IN YOU

• High School or G.E.D. AND

• One year of experience working with the public OR

• Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
