About the role

Better begins here

Crown Resorts is a great place to visit and it’s an even better place to work, a place where you can play your part in creating fun, memorable, world-class experiences for our guests and our people. We value passion, optimism, and an appetite for change - for the better. Here, you’ll be part of the team, empowered to explore more, experience more and supported by your leader to grow and develop.

The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Compliance Manager to join our Compliance & Regulatory Affairs team at Crown Melbourne. Reporting to the Head of Compliance & Regulatory Affairs, you’ll help embed Crown’s compliance framework, manage regulatory obligations across gaming and non-gaming operations, and act as a trusted compliance advisor to the business. You’ll be the go-to person for regulatory submissions and VGCCC engagement, using data and insights to drive meaningful compliance reporting and continuous improvement.

What You'll Do

  • Manage Crown Melbourne’s regulatory obligations relating to the casino licence and non-gaming operations, working closely with business owners to ensure obligations are met
  • Help embed and maintain Crown’s compliance framework, policies and procedures, and contribute to the continuous improvement of compliance risk management methodologies
  • Draft and submit regulatory submissions and respond to VGCCC queries and information requests in a timely, accurate and professional manner
  • Partner with operational managers to provide practical advice on regulatory and compliance requirements, including new or varied business proposals
  • Undertake compliance reviews, assurance activities and obligation attestations, and maintain obligations and controls within the GRC system
  • Develop compliance reporting and metrics using data analytics, and support the preparation of Executive and Board reports

What You'll Bring

  • 5+ years’ experience in an enterprise or business compliance role within a highly regulated industry (e.g. gaming, financial services, energy or utilities)
  • Proven experience managing and embedding compliance frameworks, policies and obligation registers
  • Hands-on experience maintaining compliance obligations and controls through a GRC system or tool
  • Experience preparing regulatory submissions and engaging directly with regulators (highly regarded)
  • Strong written communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with the ability to build trust across all levels of the business
  • Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business, Compliance or a related discipline (desirable), and the ability to obtain and maintain a Victorian Casino Employee Licence
