We are seeking applications for the position Contracts Engineer K3 for Mumbai Metro Line 5,9&7A Project.

Missions/Main Duties

Task Assigned:

He will broadly participate in the following major tasks:

DESIGN AND TENDERING

• Preparation of tender documents and Assistance for Selection of DDC/Suppliers/Contractors

  • Draft and review tender documents and contract conditions.

  • Assist in evaluating technical and financial proposals for DDC/Suppliers/Contractors.

CONSTRUCTION AND INSTALLATION

• Supervision and approval of the Contractors' performance of the work

  • Administer contract conditions, claims, variations, and extension of time (EOT) requests.

  • Assist in processing interim payment certificates and managing contractual correspondence.

TRAINING AND MANUALS

• Preparation of Manuals for construction, administration, operation and maintenance of Mumbai Metro

  • Assist in drafting administrative and contract management manuals

Profile/Skills

• Education qualification – Civil Engineering Graduate
• Years of experience – 10+ years
• Prior experience requirement - 10+ years
• Excellent written and oral English communication skills.
• Ability to work within a culturally diverse organization, recognizing and respecting differences.
• Ability to solve problems, especially in an integrated project delivery environment, applying industry best practices.
• Self-motivated individual with outstanding leadership skills and the ability to influence without authority
• Strong leadership skills, proven ability to lead a team effort & make independent decision and be a good troubleshooter.
