Deli Assistant (Part-Time)
Mace Newmarket is seeking a Part-Time Deli Assistant to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to become part of a fast-paced retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve fresh deli products to customers
Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety
Ensure deli counters and work areas are clean, tidy, and well-stocked
Deliver excellent customer service and assist customers with their queries
Monitor product quality and rotate stock as required
Support the wider store team when needed
Availability to work weekend morning shifts
Friendly, reliable, and able to work as part of a team
Strong communication and customer service skills
Previous deli, retail, or food service experience would be an advantage but is not essential, as full training will be provided
Willingness to learn and maintain high standards of food safety and cleanliness
