Description
Professional Care Dental Services PC; is a, physician-founded, privately owned/operated, nationally accredited correctional health care practice.
Correctional medicine is a challenging and exciting opportunity for today’s dental professional, allowing you to truly utilize all your learned skills and knowledge. It is the perfect hybrid of Outpatient and Urgent/Emergency Dentistry, serving an underserved and extremely diverse patient population.
We are currently recruiting for a Part-Time Dental Assistant to join our team at the Monroe County Jail in Rochester, NY.
This position is 4 day per week Monday - Thursday up to 32 hours of on-site dental care weekly!
To quickly highlight some key points:
- Hourly compensation is negotiable and commensurate based on experience, rate range is $18-$22 per hour
- Part-Time PTO & Sick Leave package included.
Requirements
- Preferred to have either an associate's or bachelor's degree in dental assistant from an accredited college or university or two years minimum of experience in the field.
- Licensed dental assistant in the state of New York
- Strong communication skills, as well as the ability to develop a trusting relationship with patients/inmates.
- Ability to monitor, observe and document patients.
