About the role
Dirac, Inc.: BuildOS, the AI Process Design Platform (AI + CAD) for aerospace, defense and manufacturing. 30 people, $11M raised, Empire State Building NYC.
Comp: $120K-$200K + competitive equity. Location: on-site 5 days, Midtown NYC. Visa: Not open to visas (US citizen / Green Card).
Responsibilities
Own infrastructure end to end as the sole SRE (cloud + on-prem)
Architect migration from AWS to on-prem and air-gapped environments for defense/federal customers
Deploy and support customer-specific cloud environments (multi-tenant)
Build observability and monitoring
Automate CI/CD, IaC and deployment workflows
Tech stack: Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Terragrunt, OpenTofu, AWS, CI/CD, GitOps, DNS, VPN, SSO, MDM, OpenTelemetry, Helm

1-4 yrs cloud infrastructure/SRE/DevOps with containerization
Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform/Terragrunt/OpenTofu, AWS, Helm, GitOps, OpenTelemetry
Thrives in restricted/regulated environments; independent architecture decisions
On-site 5 days NYC; US citizen/GC
