Electrical Helpers

Skillforce is seeking dependable and hardworking Electrical Helpers for a 2-week project in Las Vegas, NV. This contract opportunity is ideal for someone with general maintenance, electrical construction, mechanical, or skilled labor experience who is comfortable performing basic facility maintenance and hands-on tasks in a data center environment.

The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, mechanically inclined, and able to follow instructions and established procedures. You will work alongside the site team to help keep the facility clean, organized, and operating safely and efficiently.

Electrical Helper Key Responsibilities

• Assist with basic facility maintenance and general upkeep throughout the data center
• Perform routine maintenance and repair tasks as directed
• Use common hand tools and basic maintenance equipment safely
• Assist with moving, setting up, and maintaining equipment and materials
• Help with cleaning, organizing, and maintaining work areas
• Support the site team with general labor and facility maintenance tasks
• Follow instructions from supervisors and established work procedures
• Identify and report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or damaged equipment
• Follow all site-specific safety requirements and company policies
• Maintain accurate daily timekeeping and communicate any issues or delays to the supervisor

Electrical Helper Qualifications

• Previous experience in general maintenance, electrical construction, skilled labor, facilities maintenance, or a similar hands-on role preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to use common hand tools
• Ability to follow instructions and learn new processes quickly
• Dependable attendance and reliable transportation required
• Comfortable working in an active data center/facility environment
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Ability to pass a drug screen and background check

Electrical Helper Required Certification

• OSHA 10 Certification required

Project Details

• Location: Las Vegas, NV.
• Duration: 2 weeks
• Pay: Up to $30/hour, depending on experience
• Schedule: 40+ hours per week
