• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling (including 1D/2D analyses) using industry-standard tools to support drainage and floodplain studies.
• Develop and document alternatives for stormwater systems, including detention/retention, channels, and conveyance systems.
• Prepare supporting technical documentation and mapping inputs for regulatory submittals as required (e.g., floodplain-related documentation).
• Coordinate modeling assumptions, results, and deliverables with project teams and reviewing entities.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• Minimum of 2 years of professional engineering experience performing progressively responsible engineering work.

• Ability to apply established engineering practices and exercise sound judgment on moderately complex assignments.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software and tools.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and external agencies.
• Ability to manage assigned tasks, meet deadlines, and work under general supervision.
• Willingness to work primarily in an office environment with periodic field work, site visits, meetings, or agency coordination as required.
