Experienced Industrial Scaffold Builder

UIG is seeking experienced Industrial Scaffold Builders for immediate project needs. Candidates must have at least 2 years of hands-on industrial scaffolding experience and be capable of working with limited supervision.

What You’ll Do:

• Erect, modify, maintain, and dismantle industrial scaffolding systems.
• Work with scaffold systems including tube and clamp, pin lock, ring lock, and similar systems.
• Inspect scaffold components and identify damaged or unsafe equipment.
• Assist with planning scaffold setups for industrial projects.
• Adjust scaffold configurations based on field and site conditions.
• Use hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and fall protection systems.
• Support and guide less-experienced scaffold builders when needed.
• Follow 100% tie-off and all company and site safety requirements.
• Immediately report unsafe conditions, hazards, or incidents.
  

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years of industrial scaffolding experience.
• Hands-on experience erecting and dismantling industrial scaffold systems.
• Knowledge of tube and clamp, pin lock, ring lock, or comparable scaffold systems.
• Understanding of scaffold load capacities and safe-work practices.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, rigging equipment, and fall protection.
• Ability to independently recognize and resolve common scaffold installation issues.
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, climb, bend, and work at elevated heights for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and ability to travel to various project sites.

Preferred Qualifications:

• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30.
• Current fall protection training.
• Experience mentoring helpers or less-experienced scaffold builders.

This position is intended for experienced scaffold builders who can step onto an industrial project and contribute immediately.
