Heartline Staffing is recruiting a Field Service Technician for a full-time opportunity based in Littleton, Massachusetts. This position provides onsite residential service and repair support for windows, doors, cabinets, and other building materials while working directly with homeowners and internal teams.
The technician will travel to customers' homes throughout the local Eastern Massachusetts area using a company service van. Travel occurs during scheduled working hours.
SCHEDULE
• Full-Time
• 40 Hours Per Week
• Monday–Friday
• Flexible Daytime Working Hours
• Local Customer Travel During Scheduled Work Hours
POSITION OVERVIEW
• Conduct residential service calls to diagnose and repair windows, doors, cabinets, and other building materials.
• Troubleshoot service issues to determine whether they are caused by product defects, installation errors, or other conditions.
• Perform repairs, adjustments, and part replacements using hand and power tools.
• Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding service issues and recommended repairs.
• Provide repair estimates and answer customer questions.
• Maintain positive customer relationships while addressing service concerns.
• Collect payments for completed service work.
• Maintain inventory within the company service van.
• Coordinate replacement parts as needed.
• Keep the service vehicle clean and organized.
• Communicate service updates and resolutions with internal sales teams.
• Follow established safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements
Requirements
• Approximately 2 years of relevant hands-on service, repair, building-materials, or related trades experience REQUIRED
• Working knowledge of windows and doors REQUIRED
• Comfortable and proficient using hand and power tools REQUIRED
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record REQUIRED
• Ability to frequently lift and move materials weighing up to 100 pounds REQUIRED
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, and work in various physical positions REQUIRED
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions REQUIRED
• Ability to communicate professionally with homeowners and internal teams REQUIRED
Preferred / Relevant Backgrounds
• Residential window and door service or installation
• Residential carpentry
• Remodeling
• Building-materials installation
• Property maintenance with relevant repair and troubleshooting experience
