Finance Assistant

JOB DESCRIPTION

You will support our daily finance team routine and help organize financial information. You’ll work with the Finance and Legal teams in Brazil and the US. This is an entry-level role for someone who wants to build a career in finance. Over time, you’ll be trained to act as the backup for the Accounts Payable position.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receive, check and organize invoices, payment slips and reimbursement requests.
• Enter and schedule payments in our systems.
• Follow up with internal teams and vendors until each payment is complete.
• Organize and send documents to our external accounting team for month-end closing.
• Keep files and spreadsheets organized and up to date.
• Use Excel to track tasks and prepare simple reports.
  
  

REQUIREMENTS

• Education: degree in progress or completed in Business Administration, Accounting, Economics or a related field.
• English: advanced (professional proficiency), for daily use of systems and communication.
• Excel: good working knowledge, including formulas.
• Finance: basic understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
• Profile: organized, detail-oriented and committed to finishing what you start, with a strong interest in learning and growing in finance.
