We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Frontend Developer with strong expertise in React to design, develop, and maintain responsive, scalable, and high-performance web applications.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of modern frontend development practices and a passion for building intuitive user experiences. You will work closely with Product, Design, Backend, QA, and other engineering teams to translate business and design requirements into reliable, maintainable, and user-friendly digital experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain responsive web applications using React.
• Build reusable, scalable, and maintainable frontend components and UI modules.
• Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and product requirements into functional interfaces.
• Develop clean and efficient JavaScript/TypeScript code following modern frontend practices.
• Integrate frontend applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Implement effective application state management and data-handling patterns.
• Ensure responsive and consistent experiences across browsers, devices, and screen sizes.
• Optimise frontend applications for performance, scalability, accessibility, and usability.
• Participate in frontend architecture and technical design discussions.
• Write unit, integration, and component tests to maintain application quality.
• Debug frontend issues, investigate root causes, and implement sustainable fixes.
• Conduct code reviews and contribute to coding standards and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, UI/UX Designers, Backend Developers, QA Engineers, and other stakeholders.
• Work with version-control systems and modern development workflows to manage source code and releases.
• Support application deployment, production releases, monitoring, and issue resolution.
• Identify opportunities for refactoring, automation, performance improvement, and technical debt reduction.
• Maintain technical documentation and contribute to reusable frontend development patterns.
• Stay current with evolving React, JavaScript/TypeScript, frontend frameworks, tools, and development practices.

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of professional experience in frontend or web application development.
• Strong hands-on experience with React and modern React development practices.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and/or TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience building reusable components, responsive interfaces, and scalable frontend applications.
• Strong understanding of React fundamentals, component architecture, hooks, state management, and lifecycle concepts.
• Experience integrating REST APIs and working with JSON-based data.
• Good understanding of frontend architecture, design patterns, modular development, and clean coding practices.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and writing maintainable automated tests.
• Strong understanding of browser compatibility, responsive design, web performance, and accessibility.
• Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum or similar cross-functional development environments.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to independently own features and deliver high-quality solutions within defined timelines.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on code quality, usability, performance, and maintainability.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline is preferred.
