About the role
The CVPH Gastroenterology team is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a collaborative and well-established specialty practice in Plattsburgh, NY.
Whether you're an experienced APP or a new graduate looking to build specialty expertise, this role offers strong physician support, a welcoming team environment, and the opportunity to care for a diverse adult patient population across both the inpatient and outpatient settings.

Schedule
- Monday-Friday
- 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
- 36 patient-facing hours
- 4 hours administrative time
- One inpatient week every third week
- Remaining time spent in outpatient clinic
What You'll Do
- Manage an outpatient panel of GI patients
- Perform inpatient GI consultations and rounding with physician support
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat a variety of GI conditions
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Coordinate care plans, patient education, and follow-up
- Collaborate closely with physicians, APPs, nursing, and support staff
What We're Looking For
Required
- NYS NP or PA license (or eligibility)
- DEA eligibility
- Ability to obtain CVPH privileges
- Strong communication and patient-centered care skills
Preferred
- Gastroenterology experience
- Acute care experience
Compensation
$62.40-$98.85 per hour, based on qualifications, years of relevant advanced practice experience, and placement within the NYSNA salary structure.
