About the role

Enger Park Golf Course, located in Duluth, MN, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a full-time Greenskeeper! We are seeking a motivated individual who is interested in contributing to a positive experience for our members and guests while continuing to grow their knowledge of golf club operations. As an associate of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Role Type:
Seasonal (Position will last 6 months or less)

Compensation:
$16.00 - $16.50 per hour
Summary:
The greenskeeper is a key member of the golf course maintenance team and is responsible for landscaping and maintenance on the golf course. Ideal candidates have a passion for landscaping and the game of golf. Beginner greenskeepers are welcome- while knowledge of grounds maintenance is preferred, previous experience is not required for the position. Part-time and full-time seasonal positions are available.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain clean work areas on the golf course and maintenance facility
  • Helps with the daily set-up of the golf course
  • Mows greens, approaches, fairways, rough, tees, and other areas
  • Rakes and maintains sand bunkers
  • Assists in turf maintenance practices such as aerifying, topdressing, and seeding
  • Preforms general landscape maintenance using handheld tools
Qualifications, Knowledge, and Skill Requirements:
  • Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions
  • A valid driver’s license
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work as part of a team
  • Commitment to safety procedures and environmental best practices
