Host/Hostess

Schaffers Mill, located in Truckee, CA, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Host/Hostess! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

• Greet and welcome members and guests as they arrive
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements to optimize the flow of guests
• Maintain a clean and organized entrance and dining area
• Provide menus and inform guests of specials and promotions
• Answer phone calls and take reservations with professionalism and courtesy
• Assist with seating and accommodate special requests from guests
• Collaborate with the dining staff to ensure smooth service and guest satisfaction
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly
• Uphold the country club’s standards of hospitality and professionalism

• Previous experience in a host/hostess or customer service role preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Knowledge of dining etiquette and country club operations is a plus
