Skillforce is searching for Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics Journeymen - Travelers Welcome!
We're hiring experienced Commercial Sheet Metal Mechanics Journeymen for long-term projects in the Portland ME area. If you're a skilled traveler looking for steady work, great pay, and solid hours, we want to hear from you!
Pay:
- $32-36 DEO. $125 a day, paid on 7 days. paid weekly
- $125 a day, paid on 7 days. Available for qualified travelers
- 50 hours/week minimum
Job Scope Includes:
- Installing commercial ductwork (rectangular & spiral)
- Hanging duct, setting VAVs, RTUs, and accessories
- Reading and working from blueprints and specs
- Following OSHA safety standards
Requirements:
- Journeyman-level commercial sheet metal experience
- Ability to pass a drug screen (if required)
- Reliable transportation and tools
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently
