We are currently seeking a skilled and well-rounded Industrial Refrigeration / HVAC Technician to join our team at our Hicksville, NY facility. This is a great opportunity for an experienced technician to support critical systems and contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair HVAC, refrigeration, and boiler systems across our facilities

• Troubleshoot issues involving walk-in coolers/freezers, cooling tunnels, boilers, and related equipment

• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure operational readiness

• Respond promptly to work orders and service calls

• Install, test, and repair HVAC-related systems and components

• Track work completed, time, and materials; assist in SOP creation for recurring maintenance tasks

• Interpret blueprints and ensure proper tools and materials are available for assigned tasks

Qualifications:

• EPA 608 Universal Certification (required)

• Minimum 5 years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience (10+ years preferred)

• Strong electrical troubleshooting and repair skills

• Experience in a food manufacturing or industrial facility is preferred

• Knowledge of desiccant dehumidifiers and familiarity with CMMS

• Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

• Willingness to work overtime as needed
