Inside Sales

Summary Of Duties:

This role requires a strong customer-focused approach, combining technical expertise with relational skills to deliver exceptional sales support and effective problem-solving. You will meticulously guide customers through order processes, interpreting specifications accurately and optimizing order entry for efficient, seamless transactions. Strategic thinking is essential as you identify opportunities to enhance profit margins and promote TBEI products through up-selling. Upholding professionalism in all customer interactions, especially when managing disputes, is crucial to reflect the company’s values. Additionally, you’ll serve as a proactive communicator within TBEI, addressing challenges and sharing insights that foster improvements in sales and customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties:

• Ability to deal effectively with customers promoting positive company image using strong communication/ presentation skills.
• Strong technical reasoning and independent decision-making skills.
• Possible travel required.
• Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Syteline system, etc.).
• Basic understanding of truck chassis and related equipment.
• Detail orientated and ability to remain focused in all environments.
• Ability to attend and participate in required company meetings.
• Must be a team player that maintains high integrity while meeting company goals.
• Reports to Inside Sales Manager
• Other duties as assigned

Skills/Qualifications Required:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience: One to three years of sales experience. Basic hydraulics knowledge. General steel knowledge

• Skills: Proficiency in computer applications (Microsoft Office, Syteline system, etc.).

Physical Requirements:

• Sitting for extended periods, often using a computer or other office equipment.
• Typing and using a mouse, requiring manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and fine motor skills.
• Viewing a computer screen for prolonged periods.
• Occasional standing, walking, bending, or reaching to retrieve files or office supplies.
• Lifting light objects, such as stacks of paperwork, files, or small office equipment, typically not exceeding 10-20 pounds.
