Job Description

Duration: January to May/June 2027

Allowance: Competitive allowance dependent on education background
Location: Seletar, Singapore

At Rolls-Royce we are committed to always being a force for progress; powering, protecting and connecting people everywhere.

Our Internship programmes are designed to help you build your career from day one. You'll work on meaningful projects, learn from experienced colleagues and develop the skills to make a real impact. That's Infinite Potential.

Role overview:
As a Manufacturing Services Intern at Rolls-Royce, you’ll support manufacturing processes by analysing data, improving workflows, and assisting with lean manufacturing initiatives. You’ll collaborate with engineers and technicians to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across operations. This role offers hands-on experience in a high-performance, precision engineering environment.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Supporting predictive maintenance – assisting in advancing digital tools and strategies for predictive and analytical maintenance
  • Vendor coordination – acting as a liaison between vendors and the technical team, managing fixture care programmes and updating fixture passports
  • Maintenance planning and projects – helping plan weekly preventive maintenance and co-ordinating improvement projects (e.g., OFI, 3C, ONE Plan)
  • Problem solving and improvement – contributing to 8D root cause investigations and supporting quality, cost, and safety improvement initiatives
  • Workshop and inventory support – assisting with inventory control and collaborating with technicians on workshop improvement projects

Who we’re looking for:

  • Students pursuing Engineering degrees (Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, etc.)
  • Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python)
  • Exposure to data analysis tools such as Power BI, Minitab, MATLAB, or ThingWorx
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes, maintenance concepts, and technical documentation
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Our behaviours drive us - we put safety first, do the right thing, keep it simple and make a difference. We’ll expect that of you, too.

What we offer:

  • Meaningful work from day one, with the support to help you succeed
  • A culture that invests in your personal and professional development
  • The chance to grow your skills while working on real projects in a global company

Join us and help create the technologies that will shape tomorrow. If you're ready to learn, grow and make a lasting difference from day one, we'd love to hear from you.

Rolls-Royce are committed to being a respectful, inclusive, and non-discriminatory workplace where individuality is valued, diverse perspectives fuel innovation, and everyone can thrive.
