IT Operations Engineer

Join Us as an IT Operations Engineer!

Intuitech is a custom software development company of around 200 people, building GenAI-based solutions. We work with banks and large enterprises. Our IT team is small and modern: Microsoft 365 / Entra ID / Intune, Atlassian, and GitHub. Some of our routine tasks are already supported by our own in-house AI agent.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Owning on-site IT support in our Budapest office (minimum 3 days/week on-site): end-user support, meeting room technology, wifi, and printers.
• The full lifecycle of endpoint devices: procuring, provisioning (Intune, Apple Business Manager / ADE, Autopilot), issuing, replacing, and retrieving MacBooks and Windows machines.
• Technical onboarding and offboarding of new hires and leavers, in close cooperation with HR.
• Access management in our internal Service Desk (Jira Service Management): Entra ID groups, Atlassian, GitHub, AWS, Azure, SharePoint, Figma, and other SaaS permissions, following an approval workflow.
• Maintaining the device and license inventory and liaising with suppliers (hardware, licenses, mobile carrier).
• Participating in ISO 27001 operations: asset inventory, access reviews, MFA, and endpoint protection (Defender, Heimdal).
• Standardize, document and regularly monitor support tasks.
• Implement, operate and report of patch management system.
• Operate and configure local file storage system.
• Writing user guides, runbooks, and IT announcements.

What we're looking for:

• 2+ years of IT support / IT operations experience (L2 level).
• Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune and Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Proficiency in installing and troubleshooting macOS and Windows machines.
• Independent, precise work style with strong documentation discipline.
• Good Hungarian and working-level English.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Apple Business Manager, Jamf, or a similar Apple MDM.
• Atlassian admin experience (Jira/Confluence, JSM), managing permissions for GitHub/GitLab organizations.
• Azure fundamentals (app registrations, RBAC) or AWS IAM Identity Center basics.
• PowerShell / scripting, Microsoft Graph.
• Networking fundamentals (UniFi, 802.1X / RADIUS wifi).
• Experience working in an ISO 27001 environment, MS-102 / MD-102 certification.
