Junior Sous Chef

Job Description

As Junior Sous Chef, you will work closely with the Head Chef to oversee daily kitchen operations, maintain high food quality standards, and inspire the culinary team to deliver outstanding results. You will play a key role in menu execution, team leadership, food safety compliance, and ensuring a seamless dining experience for our guests.

Qualifications

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has previous experience as a Junior Sous Chef or in a senior Chef role
• Has strong technical culinary skills and a genuine passion for food
• Is confident leading and developing a kitchen team
• Thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment
• Takes pride in consistency, quality and presentation
• Has a strong understanding of food safety and kitchen hygiene
• Understands the importance of food cost, stock control and minimising waste
• Is organised, calm under pressure and leads by example
• Brings a positive attitude, strong work ethic and plenty of personality to the kitchen
