Kindergarten/Early Years Teacher

We are looking for an Early Years Teacher for an international school in Xian. This position is available from the upcoming 2027/28 academic year in August 2027.

About the school

Xian has long been home to this international school, and it is the city's first institution to offer the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) programs. The school provides educational programs ranging from the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme, to the Diploma Programme, covering all educational levels from kindergarten to high school.

Job responsibilities

Together with teaching assistants, support the children in their learning‐journey from Monday to Friday. During this time, you will:

• Teach daily class activities to kindergarten students assigned by the school, creating an English learning environment
• Lesson planning, daily classroom management and classroom activities organization
• Utilize games, music, books, art, technology and other resources to teach basic skills and foster children development
• Collaborate with other teachers, instructors, and staff members to create an optimal learning care environment, and an appropriate classroom environment that is conducive to learning.
• Help children meet educational milestones through personalized instruction and assess each child’s performance and progress on regular basis

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above in early childhood education or related field of study
• At least 2 years’ related teaching experience
• Teaching license
• Excellent English communicative skills
