Laboratory Aide III position entails assisting with the sample through-flow in the rock magnetic-paleomagnetic laboratories by 1) Conducting rock magnetic-paleomagnetic rock analyses after training by your direct supervisor in sample preparation and instrument operation. 2) Maintaining a log of research activities. 3) Updating the on-line literature database on specific projects as needed. 4) Establishing and maintaining a GIS database of studies conducted in the laboratory. 5) Performing other tasks as assigned.
Qualifications
Education Requirements:
High School diploma; completion of GEOL 1110 or equivalant
