Leader - Lab Assistant

Job Description

Schedule: Monday - Friday, no holidays, no weekends!

What You Will Do:

• **Lead the charge** on your shift or team to perform pre-analytic and post-analytic specimen and order processing—keeping the lab running like a well-oiled machine!
• **Train and empower** other lab assistants, ensuring everyone follows procedures and stays on their A-game.
• **Dive into** a variety of routine laboratory procedures and support services tailored to your assigned laboratory section.
• **Be the mentor and teacher** that helps others master pre-analytic specimen activities, building a team of lab superstars who maintain top-notch competency levels.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• High level of competency in performing all Laboratory Assistant duties relevant to the assigned location.
• Competence and experience in pre-analytic specimen activities, including teaching and mentoring others.

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with medical terminology.
• Experience with laboratory services.
