Parkland Golf & Country Club, located in Parkland, FL is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a part-time Line Cook at the pool-side grill! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Summary
Ideal candidates are highly dependable, team-oriented, and able to take direction with at least 1-2 years of cooking experience in a fast-paced environment. The Line Cook will assist the Chef and Kitchen Manager in preparing food for all culinary outlets on the property, including but not limited to kitchen sanitation, cleanliness, preparation, and delivery. This position requires adhering to all procedural guidelines established by the Food Service and Safety Department.
Schedule
  • Must be on time
  • 10am to 6pm includes weekdays and weekends
  • Ideal candidates have flexible schedules with availability to work weekends and holidays, as needed.
Key Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Must be able to cook steaks with the proper temperature
  • Must be a skilled sandwich maker, knows how to use a flat top/oven/broiler/grill safely
  • Must be able to take and understand the instructions from the chef
  • Must be able to work alone and under pressure.
  • Must know how to read orders and communicate.
  • Must know basic preparation techniques.
