What You'll Do

  • Build and manage relationships with major donors, prospects, and corporate partners.
  • Travel through Eastern Montana at least 25% of the time.
  • Cultivate and solicit major gifts of $50,000 and above in support of Shodair's mission.
  • Identify new major gift opportunities through prospect research and wealth screening tools.
  • Partner with Foundation leadership to develop fundraising strategies and achieve ambitious annual fundraising goals.
  • Support donor stewardship through meaningful recognition and ongoing engagement.
  • Maintain accurate donor records and portfolio activity using Raiser's Edge and other fundraising tools.
  • Track fundraising progress, analyze metrics, and provide regular reports.
  • Collaborate with leadership, finance, marketing, and board members to align fundraising priorities with organizational needs.
  • Assist with Foundation events and special fundraising initiatives as needed.
  • Help strengthen systems, processes, and best practices that support long-term fundraising success.

Why Join Shodair?

At Shodair, every gift has the power to transform the lives of children facing complex mental health, genetic, and developmental challenges. As a member of our Foundation team, you'll play a vital role in helping secure the resources that make exceptional care possible for children and families across Montana.
