About the role
By joining the mammography team, you will perform examinations to help detect and diagnose breast disease, including breast cancer. You will have the opportunity to educate patients on procedures, properly position patients to obtain accurate images, and follow established imaging and radiation safety protocols. Working collaborating with healthcare professionals, you will help with early detection and diagnosis.

What You Will Do
Performs mammography testing and procedures for patients.
Performs quality mammograms following prescribed techniques, with minimal radiation exposure to patients and self.
Knowledge of MQSA, required QC procedures, and required patient outcomes tracking.
Able to perform all applicable equipment quality control.
Accurately records all requested database / log records
Assists radiologists as needed.
Consistently follows hospital and department policies and protocols,
Maintains patient privacy and confidentiality in accordance with privacy laws (HIPPA) and facility policies.
Takes responsibility for self-development and supports learning environment.
