Material Handler (Forklift Driver)

MATERIAL HANDLER / FORKLIFT OPERATOR

D&W Fine Pack has immediate openings for Material Handler / Forklift Operators!

We are looking for dependable, safety-focused team members to support our warehouse and production operations. In this role, you will operate forklifts and other powered equipment to safely move, load, unload, stage, and store raw materials and finished goods throughout the facility.

Starting Pay: $17.00 per hour

Available Shifts: 12-Hour Day and Night Shifts

• Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 7:45 PM
• Night Shift: 7:30 PM – 7:45 AM

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• Safely operate forklifts and other powered industrial equipment.
• Load, unload, transport, stage, stack, and store materials, finished goods, pallets, and supplies.
• Deliver materials to production areas and move finished products to designated locations.
• Read work orders and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Complete required forklift and equipment inspections and report safety concerns or equipment issues.
• Build, label, wrap, and prepare pallets and products for movement or storage.
• Assist with inventory movement, staging, organization, and material rotation.
• Maintain clean and organized aisles, staging areas, and workspaces.
• Follow all safety, PPE, food safety, SQF, quality, and GMP requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous forklift, warehouse, material handling, shipping/receiving, or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Forklift certification or ability to successfully complete company-required forklift training and certification.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Basic to moderate computer skills.
• Strong attention to safety and detail.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work an assigned 12-hour shift and overtime as needed.

PHYSICAL & WORK REQUIREMENTS

• Frequent standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and material handling.
• Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 50 pounds and handle heavier materials using appropriate assistance or equipment.
• Occasional bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and climbing.
• Ability to frequently get on and off powered industrial equipment.
• Ability to work around moving equipment, forklift traffic, noise, and temperature variations in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Required PPE and safety procedures must be followed at all times.
