Mechanical Claims Adjuster

Excela Protect is looking for an accomplished Mechanical Claims Adjuster to join our team. This position is remote-eligible; however, candidates must currently reside in one of the following approved states: AZ, CO, GA, LA, MI, NC, NY, OH, SC, TN, or TX.

• Compensation: $45-55k (depending on Mechanical experience and certifications)
• Schedule: Mon-Friday (8am-5pm)

Qualifications:

• Strong mechanical background and experience as a mechanic or automotive service professional (Required).
• Previous experience with claims administration.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Thorough knowledge of automotive repair, technical vehicle operations, components, and breakdowns.
• Ability to handle customers in difficult situations.
• Act as technical advisor to claims processors.
