Job Details

Driving a NON LGV mechanical sweeper vehicle for the effective and efficient completion of daily street cleansing quotas. Part of the duties will include working a mobile phone or tablet as we use the Whitespace programme to issue work to our staff. All training is given at induction. Drive other vehicles as required.

Thoroughly inspecting public roads and open spaces to determine servicing needs as per the required and scheduled standards.

Using mechanical sweeper to remove all litter, animal faeces and other debris from gulley’s and pavements.

Use and operate associated tools and equipment as required, Clean the interior and exterior of mechanical sweeper at required intervals and carry out routine vehicle checks.
