Mgr, Accounting

Position Summary

The Accounting Manager will be responsible for fixed asset accounting, travel and expense programs and the corporate car program. The Accounting Manager will assist with leases and other accounting and month-end related duties. The Accounting Manager partners closely with the Controller and cross-functional teams to support operational and financial objectives while providing leadership, guidance, and oversight for assigned accounting processes and team members

• Essential Responsibilities

• Maintains and reconciles fixed asset schedules and reports including assisting tax manager and ensuring compliance with company accounting policies
• Manages and administers travel and expense program including management of corporate card program and leased corporate vehicle program
• Provides support to lease administrator with tracking, monitoring and accounting for company leases
• Reconciles assigned general ledger accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
• Prepares documentation for external and internal auditors as requested or required
• Supports month-end and year-end closing processes in collaboration with general ledger team and Financial Reporting Manager
• Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Performs other duties as assigned
