Work with a team of mortgage professionals who enjoy the unique, challenging, and satisfying nature of making a home loan happen – on time! At Community First, you can take pride in offering a complete array of mortgage solutions, with a company that recognizes the uniqueness of our members and looks for ways to say, “Welcome Home.”

  • Request information for loan applications; record information, complete supporting documents for the mortgage lending process, collect necessary fees, and review application for completeness
  • Analyze applicant financial status, credit history, and property evaluation to determine feasibility of granting loans
  • Communicate with and assist processors, underwriters, and closers, to build a strong origination team
  • Interact with branch locations to develop internal and external member relationships, as well as increase cross-selling opportunities
  • Participate in and facilitate sales, credit union, and mortgage team meetings as requested

We are looking for a combination of:

  • Associate's degree in banking, finance, business, or a related field
  • Three or more years of consumer and/or mortgage lending experience
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage lending, secondary market products, underwriting guidelines, and loan processing
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office suite and web-based software packages
  • The ability of work hard, find solutions, and have fun
  • Passion for providing outstanding service to our members - internal and external

We also offer:
