About the role
Job Summary:
- Assume responsibility for management and direction of inpatient nursing service units and accountability for patient care delivery environment of assigned areas.
- Manage human and fiscal resources allocated to assigned areas.
- Establish and implement standards of practice that comply with regulatory agencies, overall direction, goals, budgets and quality of service.
- Demonstrate and encourage team behavior and exceptional patient/guest experiences.
- Uphold and promote patient safety and quality.
Qualifications
Education:
Graduate from an accredited school of nursing and currently licensed as a registered nurse in the state of Alabama. Bachelor of science degree in nursing; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
Five to seven years' experience in nursing and/or nursing management.
Additional Skills/Abilities:
Possess excellent interpersonal skills sufficient to interact with guests. Proficient oral and written communication skills and basic computer skills required.
