We are seeking a Construction Inspector for our client, OGS (Office of General Services for NYS)

Responsibilities

Services required on various projects managed out of the Saranac Lake regional office. Active and future projects include working with the following clients - DOCCS, DEC, APA, and OPR.

Perform services to support various project teams in the following objectives:- Project controls and reporting- Contract administration and scoping- Change management, estimating and cost reporting- Project scheduling- Quality control / quality assurance

May assist the project team with onsite inspections and help resolve issues that arise during construction.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a secure facility a plus.

• Office Engineer shall possess, at a minimum, 5 years of experience on smaller projects valued above $1 million.

• Manage all aspects of the Area Field Office. A college degree may be substituted for year of experience.

• Compensation: for this role ranges between: $30.00 hr and $37.00 /hr

Exact compensation will be determined on the individual candidates’ qualifications and location
