Job Description:

Summary of Duties and Responsibilities:
Under general supervision, perform advanced technical work in the preparation of high purity metals and alloys used by Ames Laboratory and other national and international research organizations. Operates, and maintains research equipment and/or parts used in the preparation of these metals/alloys. Train staff in proper operation, techniques, maintenance and repair of specialized research equipment.
