What You Will Do:

-You will serve the public and work to make the roads in Ohio safer.

-You will attend training to obtain CDL licensure; if not already a licensed CDL holder.

-You will perform highway maintenance activities; including flagging, pothole patching, repairing guardrails, litter pickup, mowing.

-You will perform snow & ice operations.

Highway Maintenance Worker 1:

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & in reading, writing & speaking common English vocabulary. Must obtain Class B Commercial Driver's License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction

Highway Technician 1:

Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition & subtraction & decimals, percentages & fractions; ability to read, write & speak common English vocabulary; 3 mos. trg. or 3 mos. exp. in operation of basic equipment. Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License with tanker endorsement without airbrake restriction.

Qualifications:

Highway Maintenance Worker 1:

Highway Technician 1:

This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.

All bargaining unit new hires must serve a one (1) year probationary period.
