Looking for a career that truly makes a difference. Our Personal Care team has been providing outstanding care and services for seniors over 25 years. Our facility is a 58-bed facility, with 18 Memory Care community rooms. We are currently seeking caring and dedicated Personal Care Aides to join our team for both Full-time and Part-time positions.

Shifts Available:

• 10pm-6:30am

Your Responsibilities as a PCA on our team:

• Provide exceptional Personal service and daily care to residents.
• Communicate effectively with residents, staff management and families.
• Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures.
• Provides physical resident care to include all aspects of personal hygiene and grooming.
• Answers call lights in a timely manner and responds accordingly to the resident’s needs.
• Assists in maintaining acceptable nutrition for residents and documents meal intake.
• Knows proper technique for first aid.
• Completes documentation of medication reminder.
• Assists in maintaining a therapeutic environment for the residents.
• Motivates and encourages resident involvement in the participation in activities.
• Assists residents to and from activities.
• Lifting, turning, and re-positioning residents as needed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Prior care giving experience, desired. However, willing to train candidate
• Opportunity for career advancement to become Certified Medication Tech
• Passion and drive for helping others
• Willingness to train new employees
• A desire to continue learning and improving your skill set
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to pass pre-hire requirements including: Criminal background check, drug screen
• Previous work experience with older adults preferred but NOT NECESSARY. CTKM OFFERS PAID ON THE JOB TRAINING.
• Must be available to work every other weekend
