About the role
Siouxland Community Health Center has 1 opening for: Pharmacy Courier/ Cashier
General Functions
- Distribute prescriptions to patients by delivery or curbside.
- Verify patient name, birth date, and address.
- Serve as courier between Sioux City and South Sioux City location.
- Collect patient payments
- Reconcile payments and cash drawer to daily deposits at end of day
- Review account statements with patient and answer general billing questions
- Utilizing first-hand knowledge of assigned tasks and responsibilities, demonstrate initiative in offering proactive suggestions for improvements in departmental workflow and processes
- Other duties and projects as assigned.
Education, Training, and Skills
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Basic computer and data entry skills.
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- Cashiering Experience
- strong written and verbal communication skills
