Position Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. Working under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will help residents improve mobility, strength, balance, and overall functional independence while contributing to a positive rehabilitation experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans established by the Physical Therapist
• Provide skilled physical therapy interventions focused on mobility, balance, strength, endurance, and functional independence
• Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising therapist
• Complete accurate and timely treatment documentation
• Assist with patient and family education regarding therapy goals and functional activities
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and care planning as needed
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized therapy environment
• Support residents in achieving their highest practical level of function and independence

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current South Carolina PTA license in good standing
• Long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Experience with PointClickCare (PCC) and Casamba preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, nursing staff, residents, and families
