Job Description

Mission:

• Lead the adoption of AI and AI agents within Software Engineering teams, helping evolve Ways of Working throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). This role translates technological opportunities into practical changes in processes, responsibilities, and team capabilities, supporting adoption and evaluating outcomes.
• The profile should understand the key concepts of AI applied to software development and be familiar with the stages of the SDLC. The technical implementation of platforms, agents, and integrations will be delivered in partnership with Engineering and Technology teams.

Responsibilities:

• Understand current Ways of Working and identify opportunities to integrate AI into software engineering processes.
• Define, together with teams, principles and practices for working with AI throughout the SDLC.
• Facilitate workflow reviews, helping teams determine where AI can support their work and how to integrate these changes into day-to-day operations.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Product, Architecture, Security, Testing, and Platform teams to prioritize opportunities and prepare pilot initiatives.
• Lead the change management component, including stakeholder analysis, communications, training, coaching, and champion engagement.
• Prepare leaders and teams for new ways of working, clarifying impacts on responsibilities, skills, and collaboration.
• Gather feedback from pilot initiatives, identify adoption challenges, and coordinate responses with the relevant teams.
• Create reusable materials and practices, such as guides, reference workflows, and enablement plans.
• Define, together with teams, how to measure adoption, productivity, quality, and developer experience.
• Monitor the evolution of AI and AI agents for software development and translate relevant advancements into adoption opportunities.

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Solid experience in change management, organizational transformation, or technology adoption, ideally within engineering, IT, or software development environments.
• Functional understanding of the SDLC and the core activities of software engineering, from requirements and design to testing, security, and release management.
• Conceptual knowledge of AI-assisted software development and AI agents, including their use cases, limitations, and implications for teams.
• Ability to facilitate workshops and discussions with diverse audiences, ranging from developers and technical leads to managers and senior stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and appropriately to different audiences.
• Experience designing adoption, training, and communication initiatives, as well as supporting change after implementation.
• Ability to influence cross-functional teams and work effectively in a matrix organization.
• Results-oriented mindset, with the ability to track metrics and combine quantitative data with team feedback.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.
