  • Preparing tender documentation, evaluation methodologies, commercial assessments and recommendation reports.
  • Conducting supplier negotiations to achieve value for money, improved service levels and commercial benefits.
  • Building effective relationships with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and identify appropriate sourcing solutions.
  • Supporting contract lifecycle management activities, including renewals, variations and supplier performance reviews.
  • Monitoring supplier performance against agreed service levels and key performance indicators, escalating issues where appropriate.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings, process improvements and supplier rationalisation.
  • Undertaking spend analysis, market research and benchmarking exercises to support sourcing strategies and commercial decisions.
  • Producing management reports, procurement updates and savings reports for key stakeholders.
  • Supporting procurement governance requirements and ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Collaborating with Procurement colleagues on cross-functional and business-wide procurement initiatives.
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across procurement processes, systems and tools.

You’ll thrive in this role if you bring:

  • Excellent communication, presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness and analytical capability.
  • Experience conducting spend analysis and identifying opportunities for cost optimisation.

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent professional experience.
