About the role
Ford Motor Private Limited is shaping the future of transportation through data‑driven innovation. As a Project Manager in the 1000011425 department, you will orchestrate initiatives that leverage analytics, metrics, and smart mobility insights to enable evidence‑based decision making across the organization. You will partner with data scientists, engineers, and operations leaders to translate complex data into actionable outcomes, ensuring projects align with Ford’s vision of freedom of movement and sustainable mobility.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with Ford’s smart mobility strategy
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations
- Coordinate cross‑functional teams including data scientists, engineers, and operations
- Monitor project performance, risks, and issues; implement mitigation strategies
- Communicate status, insights, and outcomes to senior leadership and stakeholders
- Ensure data‑driven decision making is integrated throughout the project lifecycle
- Manage budgets and track financial performance against targets
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and promote best practices in project execution
- Drive continuous improvement by capturing lessons learned and applying analytics
- Represent the GDIA team in external forums and internal governance bodies
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field; Master’s preferred
- 5+ years of project management experience in automotive or technology environments
- Proven track record delivering data‑centric or analytics projects
- Strong understanding of data analytics, metrics, and smart mobility concepts
- PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work in fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams
- Proficiency with project management tools such as MS Project, JIRA, or Smartsheet
- Experience with agile methodologies and continuous delivery
- Analytical mindset with ability to translate data insights into actionable plans
