QA LABORATORY TECHNICIAN

Job Title: QA Lab Technician

Location: Green Bay

Reporting to: Food Safety Supervisor

Essential Job Functions:

• Walk production floors to collect various samples
• Sample Submissions to 3rd party vendors
• Perform Drug residue testing
• Assist in 3rd party vendor audits and Aid QA and/or FS Supervisor and management in gathering data for investigations. 
• Auditing, documenting and enforcing USDA and facility regulations. 

• Perform checks and verifications to ensure food safety and quality program is being followed.
• Monitor SOPs, SSOPs, GMPs and perform HACCP procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations.

• Perform all other duties as assigned. 

• Maintain lab equipment by ensuring proper cleaning and regular maintenance is performed.
• Data entry and Manage data

Skills/Abilities Preferred:

• Must be self-motivated, trustworthy, and capable of completing all work assignments with minimal supervision
• Good Communication Skills
• Computer skills required
• Able to work 2nd shift when needed and work Saturdays as required.

• Must be able to work flexible hours, including some Saturdays
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English
